I started working with Ken over 6 years ago, and started from as a scrawny 5’9″, 135 pound high school junior with hopes to continue playing golf at the collegiate level.  Many of my prior swing faults were due to limited strength, mobility, and other physical limitations.  Working with Ken allowed me to help turn those weaknesses into strengths by working on specific muscle groups where I was weak and immobile, which then physically allowed me to swing the way I was being instructed. Every year my fitness, flexibility, and strength has progressed, allowing my game to continue to improve. One of my most recent fitness accomplishments includes my weight and strength gains this past summer.  When I graduated college this past May, I weighed 157 pounds, and knew I needed some significant gains in my strength in order to continue playing golf competitively at the highest level.  With Ken’s help, some real dedication, and a lot of sweat and pain, I gained 17 pounds of muscle (and retained my flexibility) in under 4 months, and reached my all-time physical peak of 174 pounds.  I can confidently say that I am one of the fittest golfers around, and all of this progress would not have been possible without Ken Macdonald’s guidance.
